LaKesha Washington brings over 30 years of experience in youth development, leadership, mentoring, and community service. Throughout her career, she has served as a youth program director, coordinator, training and curriculum specialist, youth consultant, and Supervisor of Community Health Workers. Her work has consistently focused on strengthening systems that support children, families, and underserved communities.
As the Executive Director and Founder of Diphrent Inc., established in 2019, LaKesha leads the organization’s strategic vision, fiscal oversight, and compliance operations across all grant-funded initiatives. She ensures that programming is implemented with integrity, cultural relevance, and measurable impact. Under her leadership, Diphrent Inc has developed structured youth development and workforce initiatives, including RENTRI (Recidivism Engagement Network Training & Retention Initiative), designed to reduce barriers and expand opportunity for youth at risk of system involvement.
With a strong background in organizational development and youth program administration, LaKesha brings both strategic insight and operational discipline to her work. She is deeply committed to accountability, sustainability, and building programs that deliver tangible outcomes.
LaKesha is passionate about disrupting systemic barriers and creating pathways to economic self-sufficiency for underserved youth. Her leadership is rooted in service, structure, and the belief that access to mentorship, opportunity, and guidance can transform lives and strengthen communities for generations to come.
