RENTRI Program Application

RENTRI is Diphrent Inc.’s structured justice-prevention and workforce development initiative serving youth and young adults ages 13–24 in North Las Vegas and surrounding Clark County communities.

The program is designed to help young people build the skills, relationships, and opportunities they need to pursue meaningful education and employment pathways while reducing risk factors associated with justice involvement.

Through workforce readiness training, career exploration, mentorship, financial literacy, social-emotional learning, and employment support, RENTRI addresses barriers such as unemployment, academic disengagement, limited workforce exposure, economic instability, and lack of structured support.

RENTRI takes a holistic approach by combining workforce development with personal and behavioral skill-building to help participants strengthen their confidence, accountability, decision-making, and connections to positive community supports.

          • Youth who may be at risk of justice involvement
          • Youth participating in diversion or reentry programs
          • Youth from low-income households
          • Youth living in North Las Vegas and surrounding Clark County communities

Primary service area: North Las Vegas, including ZIP codes 89030, 89031, and 89032.

          Attendance Requirements

RENTRI is designed to provide youth with hands-on workforce training, career development, mentorship, and real-world learning experiences. Because many program activities are conducted in person, consistent attendance is essential to your success.

IMPORTANT: Participants are expected to attend all scheduled instructional days and actively participate in program activities.

          Attendance Expectations

To remain in good standing with the RENTRI Program:

          • Participants may not miss more than two (2) instructional days during the program.
          • All instructional sessions are conducted in person to support hands-on training, interactive learning, and direct engagement with instructors and mentors.
          • Participants are expected to arrive on time, remain engaged throughout each session, and actively participate in assigned activities.
          • Missed instructional time may not be able to be made up. Instructors may not have the ability to repeat or re-teach lessons, demonstrations, or hands-on activities that a participant misses.
          • Missing instructional days may affect a participant’s ability to successfully complete the program and meet program expectations.

What Happens If You Miss Too Many Days?

Because RENTRI is structured around progressive, hands-on instruction, excessive absences can prevent participants from keeping up with the program.

A participant who exceeds the two (2) allowable absences may be subject to removal from the RENTRI Program. Attendance concerns may be reviewed by the RENTRI Administration Team before a final decision is made.

          Emergencies & Unforeseen Circumstances

RENTRI understands that unexpected and serious circumstances can occur.

Emergent situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the RENTRI Administration Team. Participants or their parent/guardian, when applicable, should communicate with the RENTRI team as soon as reasonably possible when an emergency or circumstance may prevent attendance.

Approval of an exception is not automatic and will be determined based on the circumstances and the participant’s overall attendance and participation.

          Ready to Commit?

By applying to RENTRI, participants acknowledge that consistent attendance and active participation are essential components of the program and agree to make every reasonable effort to attend all scheduled instructional days.

Show up. Stay engaged. Build your future.
